1. About Church of God Network
Church of God Network, Inc. (“CGN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a nonprofit organization that helps members and organizations within the Church of God community connect, serve, and collaborate.
CGN is not a church, denomination, congregation, law firm, medical provider, financial adviser, employment agency, or emergency-service provider. Unless expressly stated otherwise, the congregations, ministries, organizations, businesses, professionals, events, and other resources appearing on the website are independent from CGN.
2. Listings and No Endorsement
CGN provides directories, maps, calendars, search tools, marketplace listings, and other resources to help users locate congregations, organizations, events, businesses, professionals, and services.
CGN makes reasonable efforts to provide useful information but does not guarantee that every listing is accurate, complete, current, safe, or suitable for a particular person. A listing, link, grant, partnership, or referral does not necessarily constitute CGN’s endorsement, approval, verification, or sponsorship of the listed person, organization, event, belief, product, or service.
Information such as locations, schedules, leadership, affiliations, and policies may change. Users should independently confirm important information with the applicable person or organization before attending an event, visiting a congregation, making a purchase or donation, or relying on a listing.
CGN may edit, decline, correct, or remove a listing at its discretion.
3. Independent Services and Transactions
Unless CGN expressly states otherwise, CGN is not the seller, employer, agent, guarantor, or contracting party in a transaction or engagement between a user and an independent business, professional, congregation, organization, event organizer, or service provider.
Users are responsible for evaluating third-party providers and their qualifications, policies, prices, terms, and suitability. Any purchase, engagement, agreement, payment, dispute, refund, warranty, injury, or loss involving an independent provider is between the user and that provider.
Third-party websites and services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. CGN does not control and is not responsible for their content, security, availability, or practices.
4. Informational and Professional-Services Disclaimer
Content on this website is provided for general informational and educational purposes. Nothing on the website constitutes legal, medical, mental-health, tax, financial, insurance, employment, or other professional advice.
Information about legal rights or connections to legal resources does not make CGN a legal-services provider and does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and CGN or between you and any attorney or organization identified through the website. A professional relationship is created only if you and the applicable professional expressly agree to establish one.

5. Applications and Requests for Assistance
CGN may allow individuals or organizations to apply for grants, relief, professional assistance, referrals, or participation in CGN programs.
Submitting an application or request does not guarantee eligibility, funding, assistance, acceptance, a referral, a particular response time, or any particular outcome. CGN may request additional information, verify submitted information, establish program-specific conditions, or decline a request based on its policies, priorities, and available resources.
Do not use a website form to communicate an emergency. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local emergency services.
6. Submitted Information and Materials
If you submit a congregation, organization, event, business, article, photograph, artwork, testimonial, listing, or other material for publication, you represent that:
- The information is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- You are authorized to submit it;
- Its publication will not violate another person’s rights; and
- You have obtained any permissions reasonably necessary for CGN to publish it.
You retain ownership of material you create. By submitting material for publication, you give CGN a nonexclusive, royalty-free license to review, edit for length, clarity, or formatting, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute it for the purpose for which it was submitted and for related promotion of CGN’s charitable work.
CGN is not required to publish or retain any submission and may edit, decline, restrict, or remove submitted material.
Do not submit confidential, privileged, or unnecessary sensitive information through a general contact form.
7. Acceptable Use
You may not use the website to:
- Submit information you know to be false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized;
- Infringe another person’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights;
- Collect contact information for spam, mass solicitation, or harassment;
- Scrape or reproduce substantial portions of CGN’s directories, databases, or content without permission;
- Introduce malware or interfere with the website’s security or operation;
- Gain unauthorized access to CGN’s systems or information; or
- Use CGN’s name, logo, listings, or resources to falsely imply CGN’s endorsement or affiliation.
CGN may restrict access, remove content, or take other appropriate action in response to misuse.
8. CGN Content and Intellectual Property
CGN’s original text, research, reports, graphics, logos, designs, databases, compilations, and other materials are owned by CGN or used with permission.
You may view, print, share, or download website materials for personal, church, ministry, educational, or other noncommercial purposes, provided that you preserve applicable attribution and copyright notices.
You may not sell, commercially republish, substantially reproduce, or create a competing database from CGN’s content without prior written permission. Materials belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available.” CGN does not guarantee that the website will always be available, error-free, secure, or current.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CGN and its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Reliance on website content or a listing;
- The actions or omissions of an independent third party;
- A third-party product, service, event, transaction, or website; or
- The unavailability, interruption, or misuse of the website.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Changes and Governing Law
CGN may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new “Last updated” date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any legal proceeding concerning these Terms or the website must be brought in a court with appropriate jurisdiction, subject to any rights that applicable law gives a user to bring a claim elsewhere.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
