CGN’s Grant Program exists to strengthen the Church of God by strategically funding ministries, organizations, congregations, and brethren in areas of greatest need. Through targeted investments, we seek to build capacity, encourage collaboration, and equip God’s people for greater impact.

Quarterly Application Deadlines:

What We Fund

For crisis or disaster relief funding, please visit our Within Your Gates program.

Empowers individuals in developing nations to start or grow sustainable businesses. Grants cover startup costs, equipment, inventory, or other related expenses. There is a limit of one grant award per person. We do not award repeat grants.

Provides funding to brethren in developing nations for training, education, or skill-building programs that lead to income-generating opportunities. Grants are designed to help individuals achieve long-term self-sufficiency and personal growth. There is a limit of one grant award per person. We do not award repeat grants.

Helps fund events that foster connection and fellowship among Church of God members, including picnics, potlucks, and even Sabbath or Holy Day gatherings.

Supports service initiatives within the Church of God, such as assisting families in need, helping the elderly or sick, and other projects that benefit the community. Applications are accepted year-round, with priority given to projects involving multiple COG groups.

Funds initiatives that train and mentor brethren of all ages for leadership and greater service within the Church.

Helps fund continuing education for the ministry in specialized areas such as marriage counseling, addiction recovery, Greek, Hebrew, and related fields.
