Rashida Curtis was born in Chicago, IL, and studied Theatre Arts and Vocal Performance at Point Park University. She had the privilege of performing on some of Chicago’s most respected stages, including the Steppenwolf Theatre. Though born in the Church of God, Rashida chose to affirm her faith through baptism in August 2019. She currently attends Active Bible Church of God, an independent congregation in Illinois.

Rashida delights in getting lost in books, discovering new flavors of the world through recipes, sharing deep, heart-to-heart conversations with loved ones, and uncovering cinematic gems in the Criterion Collection.
