CGN Awards Educational Grant to Mary Abena Bentum in Ghana

Church of God Network (CGN) is pleased to announce Mary Abena Bentum of Winneba, Ghana, as one of the newest recipients of a CGN education grant.

Mary, a 24-year-old member of the United Church of God, an International Association (UCG), is pursuing a Bachelor of Education in Geography Education at the University of Education, Winneba. CGN’s grant will help cover educational fees as she works toward completing her degree in December 2028.

To help support her education, Mary works part-time teaching at private schools in Winneba. Her immediate goal is to become an effective Geography teacher, helping students better understand the subject and its relevance to everyday life.

Looking ahead, Mary hopes to pursue a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Geography Education, eventually becoming a lecturer and researcher. She aspires to contribute to curriculum development, improve Geography education in Ghana, and promote environmental awareness among students.
