New Grantee: Searchlight to Spotlight Summer Camp Brings Youth Together in Georgia
This summer, nearly 40 campers and 20 dedicated staff members gathered in LaFayette, Georgia for a week filled with connection, growth, and joyful praise. The “Searchlight to Spotlight” Summer Camp, hosted by three metro-Atlanta churches—Christian Ambassadors, Church of God International, and the Independent Church of God of Atlanta—was a vibrant example of what happens when the Church of God community comes together in unity.
Campers traveled from across the region, including as far away as Texas, Mississippi, and Tennessee, to be a part of the experience. Throughout the week, young people forged new friendships, explored and played in God’s creation, and immersed themselves in learning more about His word. Daily activities included Bible studies, group discussions, outdoor adventures, and heartfelt praise through song—each moment reinforcing the shared values and purpose that unite the Church of God.
This incredible event was made possible in part by a grant from Church of God Network’s Ephesians 4 Project, which supports collaborative initiatives that build unity across Church of God fellowships. The funding helped cover essential costs and allowed organizers to focus on creating a meaningful and spiritually enriching experience for every participant.
