Within Your Gates Update: Myanmar Persecution
We received a deeply troubling update from the Church of God community in Myanmar. Shortly after the Feast our LCG ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐๐ง ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐๐ฒ๐๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ซ, along with many others, ๐ฐ๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐๐ข๐ซ ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ฌ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฆ๐๐ฌ๐ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐๐ซ๐ฒ ๐๐๐ ๐๐ง ๐จ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฒ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ (Myanmar: AKA Burma, has been in an ongoing civil war since 2021).
Their village has since been burned, and those unable to escape were tragically killed. The military now controls communication and has cut off both internet and phone lines, making contact extremely difficult.
Some brethren are sheltering with others, some are hiding in the countryside, and others no one’s been able to reach them. Despite these hardships, theyโve asked for one thing: our prayers.
