Meet the newest CGN grantee: Monohor Roy
Church of God Network is excited to announce the awarding of a CGN grant to Monohor Roy, a member of the United Church of God in Bangladesh, to help him continue his education as he prepares for a career in teaching.
Monohor has a passion not only for educating children academically, but also for helping them grow in character and faith. His long-term goal is to become a qualified teacher who serves both his local community and the Church by teaching children, mentoring young people, and supporting church ministry.
The grant will assist with tuition, books, and other educational expenses and, after he concludes his current studies, Monohor plans on enrolling in a Preliminary to Master’s program. By helping relieve a portion of the financial burden, the scholarship allows him to focus more fully on completing his education and developing the skills needed to become an effective educator.
Educational grants like this are made possible through the COG Development Program, which exists to invest in individuals whose education and training strengthen their lives and careers while equipping them to better serve the Church of God community and the communities in which they live. By helping develop future leaders and professionals, these grants seek to create lasting impact that extends far beyond the classroom.
We congratulate Monohor on this milestone and look forward to seeing how God uses his education to bless children, strengthen the Church, and serve others for years to come.
