Grantee Update: From Vision to Reality
A few weeks ago, we introduced you to John Mensah—a skilled electrician from Ghana with a vision to serve his community through an electrical supply and service shop.
With the help of the COG Development Program, John set out to build something meaningful: a business grounded in honest work, practical service, and long-term impact—with the goal of growing, training others, and becoming a trusted resource in his community.
Today, we’re grateful to share an encouraging update. His store is now up and running—and he sent this note of appreciation: “Your belief in my new venture has been the spark that lit the lamp.”
This is what the program is all about.
It’s about equipping brethren with the tools to build sustainable livelihoods…
It’s about strengthening communities through service and integrity…
And it’s about investing in people who are committed to growing, giving, and serving others.
We’re thankful to be part of John’s journey—and we’re excited to see how God works with him and his new venture.
Through efforts like this, CGN is advancing its mission to support, connect, and uplift the brethren around the world.
