Six Years of Building Bridges: Celebrating CGN’s 6th Anniversary
Today, we pause with gratitude and joy to celebrate six years of the Church of God Network!
When we launched CGN in 2019, our mission was simple but urgent: to strengthen connections across the Church of God, to encourage fellowship and cooperation, and to serve brethren. Looking back at our sixth year, we are overwhelmed with thankfulness for all that God has allowed us to accomplish together with you.
This past year has been one of growth, service, and new opportunities to live out this mission. Here are just a few highlights:
Growing the Congregation Map
As of today, we have over 1,600 congregations listed on the Congregation Map! This tool has become one of the most tangible ways we help brethren connect across distances. Every addition strengthens our sense of unity and reminds us that no one is walking this journey alone.
Empowering Churches Through Free Web Services
In August 2024, we launched free Web Services for Church of God organizations and passion projects. Many groups face barriers when it comes to building a digital presence—and we wanted to help lighten that load. By offering these services at no cost, we’ve been blessed to see organizations and individual projects gain new ways to share their work and reach their communities.
Lightening the Load with MissionAssist
Our free web services then morphed into MissionAssist in Spring 2025, a more comprehensive program designed to provide nonprofits and ministries with the administrative and professional support they often struggle to access. Through MissionAssist, we’ve been able to walk alongside other Church of God servants, helping them focus on their calling while we take care of some of the behind-the-scenes work.
Standing Together in Crisis: Our CA Wildfire Response
When California’s wildfires struck, the Church of God family responded together. Through CGN’s Within Your Gates program, we activated a cooperative partnership—spanning ten Church of God organizations—to mobilize swift and compassionate aid. A dedicated working group, including CGN and leaders from four other organizations, ensured support reached those most in need. Through these collective efforts, we raised over $127,000, directly assisting 30 brethren impacted by the fires.
Equipping the Next Generation: Our Partnership with Bible Pathway Adventures
In April 2025, we were delighted to embark on a new chapter of equipping brethren where they are—with a partnership between Church of God Network (CGN) and Bible Pathway Adventures (BPA). This collaboration brings exciting, high-quality, Bible-based educational resources—completely free through CGN—to congregations, youth groups, and homeschool communities across the U.S., Canada, the U.K., and Australia. Investing in the Next Generation Through Stewardship
One of the most exciting initiatives of our sixth year was the formation of the Grant Committee, which not only supports Church of God programs administratively but also trains young adults in stewardship and service. Throughout our sixth year, we were able to award 29 grants across our 3 programs!
A Lighter, Lively Voice: Introducing the “Clean Meets” Podcast Series
This August, we were thrilled to launch “Clean Meets”—a playful, upbeat addition to the CGN Podcast family that invites listeners into fun, relaxed conversations rooted in faith. “Clean Meets” is designed to remind us that spirituality and fellowship don’t always have to be heavy; sometimes the best bonds are formed when brethren hang out, laugh together, and dive into lighthearted topics—even when the subjects are as simple (or as nostalgic) as favorite Feast of Tabernacles traditions. It’s our way of saying: you belong here—not just in our deepest discussions, but in our joyful, everyday connections too.
Looking Back with Gratitude, Forward with Hope
Every one of these accomplishments has been possible only through God’s blessing and the faithful support of brethren within the Body of Christ. As we step into year seven, our prayer is that we continue to be a bridge-builder within the Church of God, always seeking unity, service, and love.
